She has pioneered and is the first surgeon in India to have performed the most advanced surgery- Robotic Breast Surgery

Dr Jayanti actively conducts extensive awareness programs, educating more than 6.2 lakh women across India & many other countries.

Under her leadership a unique event was organised ‘World’s Largest campaign for breast self-examination’ wherein in a single day 2332 women were individually taught Breast self-examination. This event was recognised by Limca book of records.

Her dedication to education is evident in her authored work, "Lump to Laughter." This book which is in its third edition sensitively details the emotional journey of her patients while also incorporating crucial medical facts. 

Furthermore, she has collaborated with Enable India, to train visually impaired women in innovative tactile techniques for breast cancer detection.

Training and conferences

Education for the public- So far, have conducted about 357 breast awareness and screening camps throughout Bengaluru and in many districts in Karnataka. Have reached out to more than 4,58,000 women through this. 40% of our patients have been diagnosed in these camps. • Conducted many TV shows on Breast Diseases. • Conducted many Radio Programs on Breast Oncology. • Written many articles in Newspapers and Magazines on Breast Oncology. Authored a book on breast cancer ‘Lump to Laughter’ (Blue Jay Publishers- 3rd Edition has been now published). Organized ‘The World’s largest drive for self-examination of the breast in India’ along with BGS Global hospital, in Bengaluru on October 31st, 2015, wherein 2332 women were taught breast self-examination in one day. 1000 volunteers were trained for this event.
