Dr Jayanti Thumsi is a highly experienced general surgeon with a specialisation in breast surgery. She provides a range of breast surgery services, including mastectomies, microdochectomy, breast reconstruction surgery, DIEP reconstruction, implant reconstruction surgeries, sentinel lymph node biopsies, localisation and surgery for non-palpable masses in the breast, LD flaps, breast conservation surgery, TRAM flaps, non-cancerous breast surgeries, and cosmetic breast surgery.

Trainings and conferences

Education for public- So far, have conducted about 357 breast awareness and screening camps throughout Bangalore and in many districts in Karnataka. Have reached out to more than 4,58,000 women through this. 40% of our patients have been diagnosed in these camps. • Conducted many TV shows on Breast Diseases. • Conducted many Radio Programs on Breast Oncology. • Written many articles in Newspaper and Magazines on Breast Oncology. Authored a book on breast cancer ‘Lump to laughter’ (Blue jay publishers- 3rd Edition has been now published). Organized ‘The World’s largest drive for self-examination of the breast in India’ along with BGS Global hospital, in Bangalore on October 31st, 2015, wherein 2332 women were taught breast self-examination in one day. 1000 volunteers were trained for this event. This has been recognized by the Limca Book of Records. Presentations and Conferences:
