Education for the public- So far, have conducted about 357 breast awareness and screening camps throughout Bengaluru and in many districts in Karnataka. Have reached out to more than 4,58,000 women through this. 40% of our patients have been diagnosed in these camps. • Conducted many TV shows on Breast Diseases. • Conducted many Radio Programs on Breast Oncology. • Written many articles in Newspapers and Magazines on Breast Oncology. Authored a book on breast cancer ‘Lump to Laughter’ (Blue Jay Publishers- 3rd Edition has been now published). Organized ‘The World’s largest drive for self-examination of the breast in India’ along with BGS Global hospital, in Bengaluru on October 31st, 2015, wherein 2332 women were taught breast self-examination in one day. 1000 volunteers were trained for this event.
