What is Endometriosis

It occurs when the tissue lining that usually occurs inside a uterus, to prepare the lining of a womb for a foetus, starts growing elsewhere in the abdominal region. This lining is usually dissolved when a woman gets her monthly menstrual cycle. This endometrial tissue comprises glands, blood cells, and connective tissue. Over 150 million women worldwide experience this condition, which affects their personal life and their capacity to function normally
