Hormonal changes can be blamed for this condition as well. When a woman is pregnant, the production of fluids in the tear ducts is decreased. However, this doesn’t mean that there will be less crying only fewer tears to cry.

Treatment for Vision Changes During Pregnancy

 

You don’t need new prescriptions during pregnancy as your vision will return to its normal start after the pregnancy. Due to dry eyes and decreased tear production, you might not be able to wear contacts and will have to switch to glasses. Corrective surgery is prohibited during pregnancy. Wait about a year after giving birth to look into eye correction surgery. You can use a simple saline solution for treating dry eyes.
