Some women do kegel exercises while urinating: after the flow has started, stop it, hold it for ten seconds and then release the flow. Urinate every 30 to 40 minutes as it will help in keeping the bladder empty. Try to gain weight gradually as excessive weight gain can worsen urinary incontinence. For preventing odors associated with urinary incontinence, you can wear feminine napkins or panty liners.
