Frequent Urination

Frequent urination is something every pregnant woman goes through, but why does it happen?

As you reach the third trimester, the weight of the baby presses on the bladder giving you the feeling to urinate frequently.

Treatment for Frequent Urination

There is no treatment for this. Even after giving birth, you will be visiting the bathroom frequently as the body will be flushing out all the extra fluid. This can take weeks or even months. It is important to take your time on the toilet. Sometimes, before continuing to expel the urine, the bladder might stop for a short moment. Lean forward and wait for the second pee. It will ensure that your bladder gets empty. It is important to stay away from caffeine as it is diuretic and it pushes water out of the body quickly.
