Dizziness, nausea and feeling faint may be a common symptom of pregnancy as the mother can get easily tired with carrying the weight of the baby inside.
The first few months of pregnancy can be very difficult for the mother as it brings about many changes in the body. The body has to produce double the energy and blood to sustain both you and the baby. This expands the circulatory system and can take a toll on the body causing fainting spells and dizziness.
In the later stages of pregnancy, the mother can feel excessive pressure of the extra weight and the expanded blood vessels affect her. Also, wearing tight and warm clothes can cut off blood circulation and cause breathing issues that lead to fainting spells.

Fainting in itself is not a very unnatural or dangerous symptom, however, the consequences of falling due to dizziness can be fatal for you and the baby. This is why some mothers are asked to take rest or take the support to a cane to give their body some extra support and balance. Severe cases of vertigo should be reported to the doctor.
One of the best cures for pregnancy is lying down and resting until the body is energised. And when you are lying down, keep your feet propped upwards, to increase blood circulation. Taking care of your health, eating healthy and fresh meals and staying hydrated are some other ways in which you can keep the body fit and energised.
