I was here for a Medical Checkup (corporate) last week and the overall experience that I had was terrible. I had called up Apollo Clinic couple of days prior to the appointment and I was told that I had to be fasting and that they would provide breakfast as well as they need to do blood test after food too. But when I arrived there and had my blood tests done, I was told that as part of my package this was not covered. I would have grabbed food from my hotel, if I had known before. In any case, being new to Bangalore and to avoid bad food, I walked almost 1.5 KM to a decent Udupi restaurant to have food. Not to mention the mark that the lady to who took my blood left on my hand. I give blood at least 3-4 times a year and I never have any mark left on my arms post the blood draw. Its been 5 days already and I still have marks on where my blood was taken. Anyways, worst is yet to come. I was told to collect my report on Friday or Saturday morning. Being new to Bangalore, we as a family were planning to utilize the Saturday to look for Apartments to stay and also for schools for my little one. I was anticipating around 15-20 minutes stop and had planned accordingly.
When I reached, I was asked to wait for 20 minutes as they had to handle patients who were waiting for tests and I waited for 20, 30 and almost 45 minutes before the lady at the front desk agreed to come search for my file. She went from one building to the other and I went along and she asked me to wait at the front desk and that one person will come with my file. After around 10 minutes I lost patience and I went again and I was told that my fitness certificate had not come yet and that the doctor would come only by 2 pm and that I could come back by 4 pm. I had already been there for 1 hour tops and I started losing my patience. Just then, the guy who was asked to search comes back with my file and voila my fitness certificate is also there. So they were giving an excuse and blatantly lying when they could not find my file. I grabbed my file and left the place.
Apollo being a reputed clinic should learn to improve on basics. Be it having openness and transparency or having a proper mechanism for operational aspects.
1. You should employ more on Saturdays to accommodate the increased crowd.
2. You should learn to file the files. This is no rocket science and never have dependency on a few personnel
It is simple things in life which can help Customer Service and improve our country as a whole !
Utterly worst experience
We went for abdominal scan consulting doctor is Tilak Babu radiology
Doctor scanned first time and told everything is fine and no stones, we are surprised to see this report at we have another scan done one year back which clearly reported stones in gall bladder. When we went to doctor and told him that we have stones and shown him old reports. He scanned again and gave new report with stones in gall bladder.
Doctor has shown good interest in taking back his first report and disposing it off
In summary what I feel is doctor here are very careless, please know that your reports can change our life big time
WORST and PATHETIC
Apollo clinic Kundalhalli is the worst clinic for performing health check ups. Completely mis managed, lack of staff, poor co-ordination , lots of waiting times. We came at 9 am which was our appointment time, they made us to seat half an hour idle, post fasting glucose test asked us to have breakfast in other building. Post reaching there we found that they don't have breakfast available and already almost 30 people were waiting for breakfast. Our turn came after 45 minutes.
At reception, they provide tokens, and doctors call patients by name...There is no correlation between names and tokens.
When we tried to check with the ULTRASOUND doctor, on what basis they are calling names, the doctor said I am going home, come in the evening and left. Reception did not have any clue that doctor had already eftl with almoat 10-15 patients waiting outside. For TMT they have only 1 tread mill available. For each patient, TMT takes min 20 mins, and there were 40 people waiting for the same. When questioned they say it's saturday and would be crowded. Aplollo clinic do not have any capacity plans. They shall say no to patients if they are not able to cater to their requirements.
Even at 1.30pm mine 3 tests are still pending and nobody is available to perform them. They are tellling to come tomorrow or visit any nearest Apollo branch to perform remaining tests.
I have undergone multiple health checks at multiple places but have never witnessed such worst treatment. It's really Pathetic.
They have 1 receptioniat Ms. Prema and 1 co-ordinator Ms. Suman who are helpless due to lack of resources. Prathap reddy must focus on quality of services instead of increasing the number of outlets.
Won't recommend Apollo clinic to anyone.
I booked for an orthopedic doctor. They charged for orthopedic consultation then he didn't check much and said I am referring you to other doctor in same clinic and they again charged for the other doctor. Just looting money from people. And on top of that 100rs registration fee for first time visit .
